Microsoft Power Automate

Microsoft Power Automate automates business processes through cloud flows, desktop flows, and low-code tools. Cloud flows connect apps, data, and services in cloud or on-premises environments; an on-premises data gateway can provide those connections. Desktop flows automate user-interface actions in legacy systems, with attended and unattended modes. Copilot can help create, edit, and extend automations using natural language, while built-in AI models support document and image processing, prediction, and analysis. More than 1,400 prebuilt certified connectors are listed, with custom connectors also available. Microsoft 365 experiences include Teams, Excel, and SharePoint. Administrators can use Managed Environments and data loss prevention controls, and search flow events in Microsoft Purview Audit Log Search. The service runs in current Edge, Safari, Chrome, or Firefox, and its desktop app is available for Windows 10 and 11. A 30-day trial is listed, but no free plan is established. Premium costs $15 per user per month, paid yearly; the number of flows available depends on the license. The standalone iOS and Android mobile app reached end of support on August 31, 2026.
