Happy Scale
Happy Scale tracks weight trends by smoothing daily scale readings with moving averages, helping users distinguish progress from day-to-day fluctuation. It lets users divide a weight goal into smaller milestones and estimates future weights and the time to reach a target from current trends. The app can import and export weight entries through Apple Health when permission is granted; Apple Health is not available on iPad. Health data stays on the device by default, so a server login is not needed to record or retrieve it. Dropbox sync and backup are optional, and the app accesses only its own Happy Scale folder. Profiles can be passcode-protected. The maker says it will not share personal or health data without permission and that analytics exclude health data and personally identifiable information. Happy Scale is free with in-app upgrades. Deluxe costs $1.99 a month, $11.99 a year, or 39.99 USD once. It supports iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or later, and Apple silicon Macs with macOS 14 or later.
