In their own words
FlashBoot
FlashBoot is a Windows utility for preparing Windows installations on internal drives or USB storage, moving Windows to another computer, and creating portable computer copies. The maker lists workflows for Windows 7, 8.x, 10, and 11, with availability depending on edition. FlashBoot Free converts Windows setup media for USB, installs Windows 8.x, 10, or 11 as a full operating system on USB, and saves, restores, or copies USB images while retaining bootability. Pro adds Windows privacy controls, operating-system cloning, and driver integration. Its privacy options include registry tweaks and a DNS proxy for blocking selected Windows network activity; it can also set up Windows 11 without an online account. Pro supports installable clones with apps and data, bootable USB clones, and selected driver integration. For full Windows on USB, USB 2.0 is the minimum, 3.0 is recommended, and at least 16 GB is specified. FlashBoot does not require activation or network access during operation.
Ultimate Boot CD
Ultimate Boot CD (UBCD) gathers floppy-based diagnostic utilities into one bootable ISO. After starting from the CD, users choose a program from a text menu; that program runs from a virtual floppy created in memory. The collection includes stress, memory, disk-health, and GPU testing tools. The listed release is V5.3.9, described as a maintenance release while the project says it is largely in hibernation. UBCD does not support UEFI boot, and its download guidance recommends enabling CSM Boot on UEFI machines. USB-memory boot is described as experimental on supported hardware. The download page publishes MD5, SHA1, and SHA-256 checksums for the ISO and distributes it through P2P plus volunteer HTTP mirrors. Utilities include freeware, shareware, and open-license programs with differing terms; some freeware bars commercial redistribution. Instructions explain how to customize a disc. UBCD Live is a separate early-beta Debian-based rescue CD. The listed plan is a free 803 MB ISO download.
