In their own words
FlexClip
FlexClip is an online video creation platform that combines an editor with AI tools. The editor supports trimming, splitting, cropping, merging, rotation, resizing, speed changes, text, transitions, animations, overlays, stickers, music, sound effects, and voiceovers. Its AI options include avatars, long-video-to-shorts, text-to-speech, text-based editing, PPT-to-video, auto subtitles, text-to-video, voice cloning, and image tools. Media can be imported from a computer or phone, Google Drive, Google Photos, OneDrive, or Dropbox. Exports support aspect ratios including 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, and 21:9, with resolutions up to 4K. Videos can be shared to YouTube and cloud storage services; generated short clips can be published to YouTube and LinkedIn. FlexClip is available on web and mobile, with Android, iOS, and Windows listed, but no desktop app. The free plan limits downloads to 720p and video length to 10 minutes. Paid plans start at $19.99 per month.
Spikes Studio
Spikes Studio uses AI to find notable sections in long videos and make short clips for social platforms. Editing tools include automatic transitions and zooming, caption styling, exports in multiple formats, and customizable templates. The company says moment detection supports more than 99 languages. The product is available on the web and through an API, whose documentation covers video processing such as auto-edited clips, captions, text overlays, and logo insertion. The free plan costs nothing and allows up to 30 minutes of video content monthly; free exports have a watermark and 720p resolution. PRO+ annual is $14.09 a year, billed $14.09/month, while PRO+ monthly is $32.99 per month. Enterprise annual is $56.34 a year, billed $56.34/month; Enterprise monthly is $115.99 per month. Paid plans list higher video allowances and features such as animated captions, AI B-roll, custom templates, or unlimited storage, depending on plan.
