FlowPaper
FlowPaper converts PDFs into mobile-friendly interactive flipbooks and web publications. Its browser viewer compresses graphics and loads only the pages currently visible. The desktop publisher adds links, images, galleries and video from YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia or self-hosted locations. Publications can be hosted on FlowPaper Cloud or self-hosted; the company says self-hosting has no publication-count limit. A JavaScript API exposes methods and events for integrating the viewer into an application or webpage. FlowPaper supports page-by-page Google Analytics tracking, while higher plans list heatmap and engagement analytics. The Free plan costs nothing and includes cloud hosting, FlowPaper branding and publishing for 90 days. Zine costs $75, paid once, Creative costs $85 a month, and Enterprise costs $995 a year. Cloud publication quotas vary by plan: Zine has 50 and Creative has 75, while the services-account FAQ lists 500 for Team and Enterprise accounts. VCASMO is a multimedia presentation solution for slide shows, business presentations, training, teaching, sales pitches, and seminars. Presentations can combine video, audio or music, PDF, PowerPoint, and images, with a visual timeline editor for synchronizing slides to video or music. Users can contribute subtitle translations and download SRT files. Sharing options include public or private access, selected groups, password protection, and HTTPS embedding on websites or blogs. VCASMO also offers SCORM 1.2 packages for learning management systems and a tool combining YouTube and SlideShare embeds. Presentations can be downloaded for offline use and exported as video. It runs on the web and iOS; VCASMO Desktop is offered for Windows, while Mac OS is marked as coming soon. Free accounts have a 200MB daily upload limit and 5GB monthly bandwidth. Standard costs $10.99 a month and Professional costs $16.99 a month. The free plan includes 512MB storage; its assets are retained for one month, and inactive presentations are deleted after three months.
