In their own words
FlutterFlow
FlutterFlow is a visual development platform for building customized apps. It offers more than 200 configurable UI elements and an Action Flow Editor for adding app logic. Projects can connect to Firebase, Supabase, or custom backends through REST APIs, and users can extend them with custom Dart functions, Flutter widgets, and Google Cloud Functions. Collaboration features include team editing, feedback links, branching, and sharing UI components across projects. For testing, the platform offers real-device Local Run, automated project tests, and a Debug Panel. Apps can be deployed to the App Store, Play Store, and web, and code can be exported. FlutterFlow provides desktop apps for macOS and Windows. The free plan allows up to two projects, includes 10 Lite credits, and allows up to two API endpoints. Basic costs $39 a month and includes unlimited projects, code and APK downloads, custom-domain publishing, and 100 Lite credits per month.
Google AppSheet
Google AppSheet is a no-code platform for creating applications and automations without writing code. Gemini can turn natural-language descriptions into app drafts and help make them more intelligent and easier to use. Apps collect information through forms, barcodes, locations, signatures, and photos, then store it in AppSheet databases. Workflows can send email, SMS, and push notifications using triggers, conditions, and branches. AppSheet connects with Google Workspace, Office 365, Dropbox, Salesforce, BigQuery, SQL databases, Apigee, REST APIs, and OData. Its apps support project management, operations, field work, human resources, sales, and marketing. They run on Android and iOS devices and in mobile or desktop browsers. Mobile apps support offline use with background synchronization; browsers cannot launch apps offline or cache images and documents offline. Built-in encryption, role-based access controls, security filtering, and usage monitoring address security needs. A free prototype supports up to 10 users. Paid plans start at 5 USD/user/mo, and a free plan is available.
