In their own words
Fluxguard
Fluxguard monitors web pages and related data for changes, with detection that covers visual appearance, text, rendered DOM and HTML, and network activity. Its headless Google Chrome crawler can render assets loaded by JavaScript. Users can narrow or exclude page areas with CSS selectors, network blocks, DOM attribute rules, and keyword lists. The product is intended for tasks such as tracking regulations, watching competitors, and protecting a customer’s own assets. Slack alerts can be routed to selected site categories, while webhooks send change data to a chosen endpoint. Fluxguard also offers an API, which its documentation marks as beta. The service is available on web and through an API, with a free plan and a 7-day trial. Free includes 3 sites per month, one user, and three versions per page; paid plans range from $110.00 to $550 a month. It preserves a plan-specific number of page versions, removing the oldest when the limit is reached, and does not support extremely rapid third-party crawling.
WebSite-Watcher
WebSite-Watcher monitors web pages, feeds, documents, local files, and forums, then highlights changed content. It supports RSS and Atom, PDFs, Word and Excel files, social-media pages, and other listed sources. Users can filter unwanted material and create keyword alerts for words appearing in updates. Check-Macros can record and replay logins, search forms, and multi-step workflows before checking a page. Changes can generate email alerts, reports in HTML, CSV, JSON, or XML, or trigger AI workflows and custom tools. The Windows client stores bookmarks and settings locally and can check pages without accessing the maker’s servers; optional sync uses cloud, local, or network folders. The Free edition costs nothing, with 10 bookmarks, one database, and a one-hour shortest interval. Personal costs €49, paid once per user for private, non-commercial use; Business costs €299, paid once per user for business and professional use. A 30-day evaluation is free, and Android and iOS apps store data on the phone without an account.
