FoodTraze

FoodTraze tracks food ingredients and products through the supply chain, from origin to consumption, using a blockchain built with Hyperledger Fabric. Its records can cover provenance, suppliers, harvest and processing timestamps, quality data, allergens, nutrition and batch or lot identifiers. It also tracks asset transfers, ownership changes, logistics routes, inventory, delivery schedules and recall information. FoodTraze says it can connect with supply chain systems, databases, IoT devices, ERP systems, farm management tools and quality-control sensors. Deployment choices include managed SaaS on FoodTraze or a private blockchain with dedicated nodes and governance. The maker describes the software as open source; installation documentation covers the network, API and Explorer using Docker and source repositories. The offering is intended for participants including farmers, producers, processors, distributors, retailers and end consumers. Pricing is on request and varies with usage and selected options. The calculator lists six months of free bug-fix support; a premium option includes 24/7 priority support, phone and video support, monitoring, updates and training.
