Yandex Maps
Yandex Maps is a mapping service for viewing city maps, finding places, and planning routes. It runs on the web, Android, and iOS, and provides APIs and SDKs for developers. Search covers geographic areas, organizations, and public transport routes. Users can switch among road, satellite, and hybrid views, then choose transportation modes for route planning. Map information includes traffic jams and road events. Public transport details show routes, stops, schedules, and moving vehicles. Mobile users can download maps and plot routes offline, but downloaded maps provide only the schematic view; offline routes omit traffic, cameras, and road events. Place cards contain organization information and allow ratings, reviews, and photos. Yandex offers JavaScript API, MapKit SDK, Tiles API, and Static API. The service plan costs nothing for maps, place search, and routes. MapKit SDK Basic costs what you agree with the maker, with monthly active-user limits and extra charges beyond them.
