ForeUI
ForeUI is a desktop tool for making mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for applications and websites. Users can define prototype behavior with flowcharts, then run the result as an HTML5 simulation in a browser. Multiple interface themes let designers change a mockup’s style. Designs can be exported to PDF and image formats, while prototypes can be exported as browser-runnable DHTML. Reusable custom elements can include behavior and be packaged into libraries. Generated HTML5 can communicate with back-end web services through a JSONP API or YQL proxy. The ForeUI Store provides downloadable elements and libraries through the app or a browser. The maker describes the tool for sharing ideas, reviewing design concepts, gathering feedback, and usability testing. ForeUI runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Its 15-day trial includes all features, but saving and exporting are disabled after the trial.
