In their own words
Formbricks
Formbricks is an open-source experience management platform for collecting feedback on websites, apps, and other channels. It supports website, email, and in-app surveys, including link-based and in-product surveys, conditional logic, hidden fields, partial responses, file uploads, and single-use links. Pro adds respondent identification, contact and segment management, attribute-based segmentation, email follow-ups, webhooks, integrations, mobile SDKs, and AI translations. Listed integrations include Airtable, Google Sheets, Notion, Slack, n8n, Zapier, and ActivePieces. Teams can use the cloud plans or self-host with one-click setup, Docker, or Kubernetes. The documented v6 self-host baseline runs eight long-running services; the single-server evaluation setup lists 2 vCPU, 4 GB memory, and 20 GB SSD. Formbricks says it encrypts data in transit and at rest and lists GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001. Hobby cloud has one workspace and 250 responses monthly; Pro has three workspaces and 2,000 responses monthly. The pricing note lists a free plan, paid from $74/mo (annual), and a 14-day trial.
SurveyJS
SurveyJS is a set of JavaScript components for building surveys, quizzes, polls, and web forms, then storing responses and displaying results. Its free, open-source Form Library renders JSON-based forms in React, Angular, Vue, and plain JavaScript applications. It supports more than 20 question types, conditional logic, validation, multilingual forms, and right-to-left languages. Survey Creator provides a drag-and-drop designer that generates JSON schemas. Dashboard displays results through interactive charts, tables, word clouds, and aggregated statistics; PDF Generator creates editable PDF forms and exports submissions. The libraries run in a customer’s application and can connect to any backend or database. SurveyJS says it does not access, process, or store survey data; customers choose and manage their own data storage and protections. React, Angular, and Vue have native support, while jQuery uses a wrapper over the Vanilla JavaScript version. The Form Library is free, but Survey Creator, Dashboard, and PDF Generator require commercial licenses for production use. Commercial developer licenses are required for each developer working with those product APIs or implementing integrations.
