Free Mockup vs MockupsJar

Free Mockup is a free web directory for discovering mockup templates and browser-based image tools. Its catalog combines resources from external creators with mockups made by its own team, covering devices, packaging, apparel, stationery, print, branding, logos, signage and scene creators. Templates help present logos, packaging and digital interfaces on realistic objects and scenes. Most downloads are layered Photoshop PSD files, often using smart objects; some listings also provide PSB, Figma or Sketch files. In-house downloads come directly from Free Mockup, while external entries may redirect to their original hosts. Most creators allow personal and commercial use, but each listing’s licence needs checking. The site says files generally cannot be resold or redistributed. Its browser device generator places PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG screenshots into device or browser frames, supports rows, columns and grids, and exports PNG at 1×, 2× or 3× scale. Free Mockup says screenshots stay in the browser rather than being uploaded. Other browser tools cover conversion, compression, resizing, cropping, Figma export, website screenshots and AI upscaling.

MockupsJar provides web and API tools for creating realistic mockups of websites, products, devices, and fabrics. Its library lists more than 945 ready-to-use mockups. AI tools include an image generator and Mockup Mixer for product and scene mockups. A website screenshot tool captures desktop, tablet, mobile, or custom resolutions, with controls for post-load waiting, clicking text, scroll position, and image format. The mockup generator API can create product previews from the library or from users’ own designs; its documentation page also links an NPM package. MockupsJar describes consulting and company integrations, including custom API and ImageGen solutions. The free plan costs nothing and includes unlimited downloads, 10 credits for up to 100 AI images, and PNG, JPG, or PDF output. High-resolution generation is limited. The plan is presented for students and professionals who create mockups regularly.
