Freeletics

Freeletics offers personalized training across HIIT, calisthenics, gym and weight training, cardio, running, strength, and weight loss. Its Coach adapts training plans using personal information, preferences, and completed sessions. Training Journeys cover bodyweight, running, and weights, with goals such as endurance, speed, strength, muscle building, and weight loss. Workouts can be adjusted for time, equipment, noise, intensity, or body areas to exclude. The free Training app includes selected warm-ups, cool-downs, God Workouts, individual exercises, and runs; a Coach subscription unlocks all workouts, exercises, and runs and adds a structured plan. Freeletics lists an exercise library of 100 exercises and supports adaptive progression, custom workout plans, equipment profiles, and AI coaching. With permission, selected activity data can be exchanged with Apple Health and Google Health Connect; an optional Strava connection reads activity data with explicit consent. Freeletics is available on Android, iOS, and web. Its free plan costs nothing.

Run With Hal

Run With Hal creates personalized running plans that adapt to goals, performance, and schedule. It supports preparation from 5K through ultra distances, plus year-round base plans. Workouts and pacing change automatically as training progresses. Runners can move workouts, shift long runs, select long-run days, and set blackout dates. Hal+ can combine adaptive plans for several races. The iOS and Android app provides GPS tracking for pace, effort, and mileage, together with stats, charts, summaries, and calendar views. Run data syncs from Garmin Connect when a run is saved as a Run and synchronized there. The app is free to download and use, while Hal+ adds adaptive features. Paid subscriptions include a two-week premium trial. Hal+ monthly costs $6.99 a month; annual costs $59.99 a year. The app does not sync with Apple Watch, Strava, Polar, Fitbit, Suunto, Apple Health, TrainingPeaks, MapMyRun, Runkeeper, Samsung, or other devices or apps.
