In their own words
FrontFace
FrontFace is digital signage and kiosk software for Windows and Android. A Player app displays content on screens, while an Assistant app prepares and schedules it. The maker describes uses including reception boards, digital bulletin boards, interactive terminals, dashboards, menu boards, and video walls. Supported material includes common image, video, and audio formats, PDF and XPS documents, web pages, and live audio and video streams. Content can be published over a local network, FrontFace Publishing Cloud, other cloud storage, a web server, or offline through USB. Calendar data can come from Exchange, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Lotus Notes/Domino, iCalendar, or Excel. Optional plugins include Power BI and RSS. FrontFace operates on-premises and offline. Windows lists touchscreen menus, a kiosk browser, and accessible interfaces with SSML-compatible speech output; Android has fewer features. The fully functional trial lasts 14 days and can be upgraded without losing configuration. Offers are for business customers, with prices shown net of applicable taxes.
KioskCore
KioskCore monitors kiosk fleets with device health metrics, remote commands and alerts. Its dashboard displays CPU, memory, disk and network data with per-device charts and history. Operators can reboot devices, restart apps, upload logs and schedule commands from a browser. Alerts can be sent by email, Slack, webhooks or mobile push, with configurable thresholds and optional auto-restart. Screen captures are available on demand or on a schedule, and a fleet screen wall displays kiosk screens together. Commands and telemetry queue locally while a device is offline and sync when connectivity returns. The iOS and Android app shows status, alerts and captures, sends push notifications and supports remote commands. The agent connects outbound over HTTPS with token authentication; screen capture is off by default, and the site says keystrokes are not logged. Its .NET backend can be self-hosted behind an operator’s reverse proxy or tunnel. The free plan covers up to two devices; paid plans add longer history, capture retention, storage and support options.
