In their own words
FundCount
FundCount combines portfolio, partnership, and general ledger accounting for investment analysis and reporting. Its portfolio engine covers listed securities, fixed income, OTC derivatives, private equity, real estate, and alternatives; partnership tools handle capital accounts, allocations, waterfalls, fees, and profit splits. Reporting ranges from tables and charts to complex visualizations, and client community members can access sample reports through the Report Encyclopedia. The ETL Importer accepts Excel, CSV, text, and XML, alongside interfaces with banks, brokers, and custodians. Deployment options include on-site, public or private cloud, and fully managed SaaS. The investor portal provides permissioned access, document delivery, and multi-factor authentication. FundCount says it serves family offices, fund administrators, hedge funds, and private equity firms. Plans start at $14,450/yr, with digital transformation and hosting fees additional. There is no free plan or trial; the company offers guided proof-of-concept sessions using prospective customers' own data and reports.
MoneyGuide
