In their own words
Game-MAPS.com
Game-MAPS.com is a free website offering game-specific maps, walkthroughs, zone guides, world maps, and solutions for puzzles and secrets. Founder Wojtek Antonowicz says he creates the maps, guides, texts, and opinions himself and chooses which games to cover. The site uses static illustrated maps rather than interactive ones, with numbered exploration points that can connect to written location descriptions, screenshots, and video clips. All content is available to everyone, and no account or registration is required. Readers can submit corrections, notes, and update reports through comments, Reddit, YouTube, or email; the creator says he tries to revise maps when games change or errors are reported. The terms warn that markers cannot be guaranteed completely accurate or current. Optional monthly or one-time contributions support the site, with payments processed through Google. Contributions do not remove ads entirely. The site is web-based and was founded in 2010.
MetaForge
MetaForge provides game guides, databases, maps, interactive tools, and community features for players. Its resources include timers, trading, and inventory tools. The WARDOGS section adds a database, ballistics charts, interactive maps, leaderboards, and a Looking for Group area. Its Apple and Android apps include a database, leaderboards, ballistics, squads, server status, and Black Market rates. On desktop, the MetaForge Overlay offers an event timer HUD, ARC item scanner, needed-items tracker, minimap sync, second-monitor support, and hideout tracker. It is powered by Overwolf, and the FAQ says it cannot be used on consoles because consoles block overlays. Linking an Embark ID can sync game progression for the needed-items tracker. MetaForge offers a free plan and monthly supporter tiers: Rare Supporter at 11.49 PLN, Epic Supporter at 19.18 PLN, and Legendary Supporter at 38.39 PLN. The tiers offer varying limits for private map routes, markers, builds or loadouts, and marketplace listing bumps, along with ad-free browsing. Support is directed through FAQs and a Discord ticket system.
