In their own words
GameTree
GameTree is a teammate-finding platform and Discord bot for organizing gaming sessions. Its matching system considers players’ game preferences, playstyle, communication style, values, and personality. Through Scout, users can create live, scheduled, or recurring LFG sessions, with automatic reminders for scheduled play. Scout can open private voice and text channels for a group and remove the channels, posts, and invites when a session ends. Sessions can include players from Scout-enabled servers; server owners can filter or disable cross-server traffic. The bot runs in Discord and supports commands such as /lfg and /sessions. Guests can use Scout without a GameTree account, while personality matching and Steam friend syncing require a free account. GameTree says Scout does not read or store messages in channels where it is not invoked, and says it does not sell or give away personally identifiable or contact information. Its privacy policy also says service data may be used for research and to improve matchmaking and recommendation models. GameTree has Android, iOS, and web platforms; its core LFG features are free.
The100.io
The100.io helps video game players find groups based on play time, timezone, age, and preference for serious or casual play. Players can create sessions by choosing a game, date, start time, platform, and group, with optional notes. Others can join, waitlist, or reserve a place when a session is full. Members can join or leave groups, although some groups require admin approval. Discord accounts can be linked; the bot can recognize linked users, post their games, list upcoming group sessions, and create sessions from plain-language descriptions. Users can manage gaming email and mobile push notifications, including specific notification types. The service has web, Android, and iOS access, though most active development happens on the website. Basic functionality and finding a group are free. Supporters can make voluntary monthly contributions and cancel at any time; listed benefits include calendar sync, customization, and joining up to six groups. Personal API tokens are limited to supporters, and Discord Bots API access requires prior approval. Users must be at least 13 years old.
