In their own words
GameVox
GameVox provides voice, video, and text chat for gaming communities, including teams, clans, roleplay servers, and groups of friends. Its servers combine channels, file storage, and screen sharing; the free plan allows up to 100 members, five voice channels, eight text channels, 2 GB of storage, and 500 MB per file. Free users can share screens at 1080p 30fps, while Diamond servers support up to native 4K 60fps. GameLink adds proximity voice and 3D spatial audio for Arma 3, FiveM, RedM, RAGE:MP, and alt:V. A Discord import can clone channels, roles, permissions, emoji, soundboard sounds, events, and server assets, while Discord Relay mirrors messages and related activity. Existing discord.js, discord.py, JDA, or Eris bots can run by changing gateway and REST configuration endpoints. Signup can start with a username and password without an email, phone number, or ID. Self-hosted servers keep voice, messages, files, and community data on the operator's machine while using GameVox cloud for authentication and updates. GameVox launched in open beta in 2026 and supports web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
GGBRO
GGBRO is a hosted platform for gamer and community communication, combining text chat, voice, video and screen sharing. It supports web, Windows, Android and API access. Members can create unlimited servers and use replies, edits, pins, reactions, file uploads, GIFs, link previews and channel search. Voice channels use a LiveKit SFU, while direct and group calls include voice, video and screen-sharing controls. An Apps launcher provides Discovery, Gemini AI, Streamers and other apps. Developers can create bots through a REST API and Socket.IO gateway; bot creation and API use are listed as free with no usage fees. Windows plugins run in sandboxed iframes with declared permissions, and sensitive permissions require confirmation. GGBRO says passwords use bcrypt hashing, 2FA secrets are encrypted, client-server traffic uses TLS and calls use DTLS-SRTP. The Free plan costs nothing and includes core features, one server backup and 25 MB uploads.
