Gamma vs JamStation

Gamma is a PlayStation 1 emulator for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. It supports touch and gamepad controls, save states, screenshots, game importing, and games that span multiple discs. For 3D games, the App Store listing describes enhanced resolution up to 8× and widescreen options. Supported disc images include BIN/CUE, CHD, PBP, ISO, and MDS; archive formats include 7zip, ZIP, RAR, and ECM. Cheat support and RetroAchievements are also listed. Optional Gamma Sync can connect Google Drive or Dropbox to store and retrieve selected emulator data. Games, BIOS files, memory cards, save states, and controller skins normally remain on the device unless a selected feature transmits them, such as Sync or a community submission. Gamma does not include commercial PlayStation games or proprietary PlayStation BIOS files, so users are responsible for using content they have a legal right to use.
