In their own words

GEA Codex Recipe Manager

GEA Codex Recipe Manager is an MES software module for industrial production that manages and executes master recipes, including ingredients, access points, and operating instructions. Its graphical system can automatically create production records with recipe setpoints and measured values. Recipe changes can be checked against previous versions; the module also tracks changes to recipe values, analyzes recipes, and generates reports. Human-readable codes and RFID can identify materials to support automated batch execution. Listed capabilities include flexible PLC-level interaction and real-time company-wide visibility of manufacturing data. GEA Codex Enterprise Connect transfers execution details to ERP level, including process parameters and raw-material consumption. It exchanges information with systems such as ERP, LIMS, and WMS through REST API, Database Messaging, and XML-file interfaces. The included Codex Scheduler supports production timetabling, order prioritization, and manual or automatic batch splitting according to line size and availability. With defined rules, batches can be optimized for allergen, color, or clean-in-place requirements. GEA provides a quote option and directs prospective customers to contact the company; no price is listed.
