genei is an AI-powered research and note-taking tool for analysing webpages, documents, and PDF files. It can extract and define keywords, search within and across documents, and produce summaries of documents or sections. Its natural language processing supports abstractive summarisation, entity annotation, semantic search, and question answering. The web app organizes documents into projects and supports comments, highlights, custom definitions, and notes. It also provides citation management and reference generation for uploaded documents. The Chrome extension can summarise webpages or save them for later reading. genei supports PDF and web.x files, but currently handles English-language documents only and is designed for desktop rather than mobile devices.
