GenToon
GenToon turns text story descriptions into comics, including four-panel formats, vertical-scroll webtoons and instatoons. It supports 1:1, 4:5, 2:3 and 9:16 aspect ratios. AI selects panel layouts and dialogue and positions speech bubbles. GenToon says a character keeps the same face across episodes and art styles. Its site lists more than 1,500 styles, including webtoon, manga, watercolor, pixel and noir, and support for 21 languages in stories, dialogue and speech bubbles. New sign-ups receive 150 credits without providing a card. The service runs on web, iOS and Android, with the same account across them. An MCP connector supports ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI. GenToon says prompts, reference images and generated outputs are not used to train AI models. Its privacy policy says analytics load when a page loads and that no consent banner currently appears first. The free plan costs nothing and includes 150 credits per month and 20 characters. Lite costs $10 a month with 800 credits per month and 20 characters.

ImageToCartoon uses AI to turn uploaded photos into cartoon, anime, comic, and animation-inspired images. Its library includes 80+ styles, such as manga, 3D, watercolor, clay-style, and comic-inspired effects. The converter accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP files up to 10MB; images can be uploaded, dragged and dropped, pasted from the clipboard, or supplied by URL. It supports portraits, group photos, full-body pictures, and animal photos. Generated images can be downloaded for avatars, social posts, prints, and creative projects. The public browser converter requires no account, login, payment details, or app installation, while the homepage links to iOS and Android apps. Original uploads and generated results are automatically deleted from the maker's systems within 2 hours. Its privacy policy says third-party providers may handle hosting, analytics, advertising, security, image processing, and storage, and advises against uploading highly confidential, regulated, or sensitive personal images. Generated work may be used personally or commercially if users have rights to the original photo and follow applicable laws and third-party rights.
