GifCraft
GifCraft is a browser-based tool for creating and editing looping GIFs from videos, image sequences or AI-generated images. It can trim, caption, filter, resize, crop, rotate, change playback speed, adjust looping and compress media. Supported inputs include MP4, MOV, WebM, M4V, GIF, PNG, JPG, WebP and AVIF; exports include GIF, H.264 MP4, animated WebP and PNG frames. GIF exports can contain up to 240 frames, use 2–256 colours and include optional dithering. Presets cover Discord emoji at 256 KB, Slack emoji at 128 KB, X at 15 MB and Instagram MP4; MP4 exports are also described for TikTok and WhatsApp. GifCraft says files are edited and encoded in the browser, and uploaded files are not sent to its servers. AI prompts are sent to the image model, and the generator allows a few images per hour. The free service works on web, Android and iOS, needs no account, adds no watermark and has no export limit. Very long 4K clips may be slow on older phones.
Wigglegram Creator
Wigglegram Creator makes animated GIFs and looping MP4 or WebM videos from sequences of JPG or PNG images. Its drag-and-drop graphical interface lets users set output scale, frames per second, and video repetitions. GIF output is downscaled for sharing; MP4 and WebM exports are full resolution and can use configurable repetitions. Users can draw a crop on the preview, applied before scaling, interpolation, and export. If a face is detected on import, alignment anchors to it automatically, and users can click the preview to override that placement. On macOS, the app can offer Apollo Fast slow motion from 2x to 8x if it detects Topaz Video’s bundled ffmpeg. The project is free and MIT-licensed, with prebuilt releases listed for Linux x64 and arm64, Windows x64, and macOS Apple Silicon. It is a GUI-only application without headless command-line export. The prebuilt macOS app is unsigned and not notarized, so Gatekeeper quarantines it on first opening.
