Overview

Integral Anatomy concentrates on continuities between the body's textural layers and on the anatomy of particular individuals, rather than presenting only generalized averages. That approach is valuable for readers who want to understand relationships across the whole body and how variation appears in real specimens.

The library contains more than 400 hours covering on-camera dissection, whiteboard courses, interviews, keynotes, tour talks and written material. Some courses are inspirational or educational without dissection, although cadaver work is a substantial part of the offering. Gil is an approved provider for NCBTMB, the New York State Massage Board, IASI, the Florida Massage Board, PMA and CMTBC; his credentials meet Yoga Alliance CEP standards. Whether a particular course satisfies your licence or employer requirements still depends on the applicable rules.

Key features

Multiple course formats: Filmed dissection provides close study of real anatomy, while whiteboard courses, interviews, keynotes, tour talks and writings offer less specimen-focused ways to learn. This breadth suits different learning preferences and lets users avoid dissection when a course does not require it.
Whole-body perspective: Lessons emphasize connections among layers and structures instead of treating each body part as an isolated diagram.
Continuing education: Paid Explorer access includes CE credit, backed by the provider approvals and Yoga Alliance credentials described above. The free Easy Rider material does not include CE credit.
Monthly live discussion: Explorer members can join a monthly Live with Gil video call with interactive discussion and Q&A, then watch recordings. This adds a scheduled conversation layer that the self-directed courses do not provide.
Access models: Individually purchased courses come with lifetime access. Courses accessed through Explorer remain available only while the subscription is active, so membership is not a permanent purchase.

Pricing

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best for
Easy Rider	Free	Integral Anatomy Series (9 hours), Integral Anatomy Intensive (6 hours), Fuzz Tour Talk (5 hours), and Exploring Pars Intima Through Models (2 hours); no CE credit	Anyone wanting a substantial, no-cost introduction
Explorer Monthly	15.00 USD per month	Easy Rider content with CE credit, monthly Live with Gil and archives, Anatomy from A to Z, The Nerve Tour, livestream dissection recordings, keynotes, CE material, and e-copies of published books and articles	Active learners who want the broad catalog and can cancel anytime
Explorer one-month a la carte	25.00 USD per once	One-month all-access pass, including the current month's Live with Gil session	Short-term study or a one-off live session without recurring billing
Explorer Annual	150.00 USD per year	All Easy Rider and Explorer content with CE credit	Users planning sustained study; annual recurring billing can be cancelled

Easy Rider is unusually useful for a free tier because its named courses total 22 hours, but it excludes CE credit and the broader Explorer catalog. Monthly Explorer costs less than the one-month pass for a recurring month, while the a la carte option avoids an ongoing subscription. Annual Explorer lowers the effective monthly cost compared with twelve monthly payments, provided you expect to use it for the year.

Platforms

The service runs on the web. No native mobile or desktop applications are identified.

Who it's for

Choose it if you are a massage, yoga, chiropractic or bodywork professional seeking CE-oriented study, or if you are personally curious about the human form and want an extended, whole-body treatment. Easy Rider works for sampling the teaching without payment; Explorer is the practical choice when CE credit, live discussion, books and the full catalog matter.

Look elsewhere if your priority is a compact anatomical reference, a platform-first mobile experience, or training that excludes cadaver material altogether. The catalog includes non-dissection options, but its identity remains closely tied to filmed dissection and specimen-based teaching.

Pros and cons

Pros: More than 400 hours across dissection, whiteboard teaching, talks and writing; a distinctive whole-body and individual-specimen perspective; a genuinely usable free selection; CE credit and professional-provider recognition on paid access; monthly interactive calls with recordings.
Cons: Free content has no CE credit; Explorer course access ends when the subscription ends; the one-month pass costs more than one month of recurring Explorer; web-only delivery may disappoint users expecting native apps; copying, downloading or redistributing content is prohibited without written permission.

Alternatives

For a broader catalog of educational video services, browse Educational Video Libraries. ClickView is the better choice for teachers needing Android, iOS and web access with a free teacher account and school stream allocations. Choose Digital Theatre+ instead when an institution needs multi-platform access and can obtain a subscription quote. Hopster is a paid, trial-based option on Android, iOS and web. National Theatre Collection suits UK state-funded schools and further-education colleges eligible for free access. Scholastic Watch and Learn Library is aimed at school-wide subscriptions. Bloomsbury Video Library is another paid video-library option. BrainPOP is better for family-oriented K–8 topic learning, while Into Film+ is the choice for eligible English state schools seeking a free film catalogue.

Verdict

Choose Gil Hedley Integral Anatomy for its unusually deep, whole-body anatomy library, real-specimen teaching and paid CE and live-discussion options. Start with Easy Rider if you want to judge the approach at no cost; move to Explorer when credit and the wider catalog justify the subscription. Look elsewhere if you need a conventional anatomy reference, native apps or a permanently owned subscription library.
