| Spec score · AI Security Testing Tools | 8.6 (#5) | 7.7 (#17) |
| Compliance | The site states end-to-end encryption at rest and in transit and lists GDPR, SOC 2 Type II, and HIPAA compliance. | Compliance reporting covers NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR, and OWASP LLM Top 10, and users can add custom YAML frameworks. |
| Deployment | The Enterprise plan lists on-premise, private cloud, and SaaS deployment options, and the FAQ says its team can help install Hub on-premise for sensitive workloads. | The Docker instructions say the container runs as non-root user redforge (UID 1001) with a read-only filesystem. |
| Integrations | The earlier product description lists compatibility with Hugging Face, MLflow, Weights & Biases, PyTorch, TensorFlow and LangChain. | It can export SARIF for GitHub Code Scanning and documents a GitHub Actions workflow that uploads the SARIF file. |
| License | The public giskard-oss repository is marked Apache-2.0 licensed. | The project is released under the Apache 2.0 license, and the README says probe payloads are released under CC0. |
| Purpose | Giskard describes its platform as a way to find vulnerabilities in AI agents before they reach production. | RedForge is an LLM security testing platform for red teaming and vulnerability scanning. |

In their own words
Giskard
Giskard provides tools for assessing AI agents before production, with coverage for prompt injection, data disclosure, inappropriate content, hallucinations, contradictions, and omissions. Its Hub performs black-box testing of conversational text-to-text agents available through an API endpoint. An assessment produces a structured report with a deploy-or-fix verdict, ranked vulnerabilities, and functional scenarios; passing agents receive a Giskard Label. Giskard describes a remediation process in which its team qualifies findings, discusses severity, prioritizes issues, opens workflow tickets, and reruns tests to check fixes. Enterprise evaluation options include adversarial probes, domain-specific datasets, RAG quality metrics, customizable metrics, and human review interfaces. Deployment choices include on-premise, private cloud, and SaaS. Giskard lists EU or US data residency, access controls, audit trails, identity-provider integration, encryption, and a zero-training policy, alongside GDPR, SOC 2 Type II, and HIPAA compliance. The free plan includes a local open-source library, basic vulnerability scanning and RAG evaluation, community support, and best-effort maintenance.
RedForge
RedForge is a free, open-source LLM security testing platform for red teaming and vulnerability scanning. It runs on Linux, through an API and as self-hosted software. The project lists more than 49 probes, full OWASP LLM Top 10 coverage and YAML probe additions without Python. Attack modules include PAIR, Crescendo multi-turn escalation, Skeleton Key, many-shot jailbreaking and GCG adversarial suffixes. Its mutation engine expands two payloads into 37 variants using encoding, Unicode, cognitive reframing and structural injection strategies. Provider adapters cover OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Mistral, Ollama, HuggingFace and generic REST endpoints. Ollama runs locally without an API key. Scans create JSON, JSONL audit and failures reports, with HTML, Markdown and SARIF also available. Compliance reports cover NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR and OWASP LLM Top 10. RedForge is Apache 2.0 software for authorized use.
