In their own words
Gitar
Gitar is a code change verification agent that reviews pull requests, investigates CI failures, and can apply fixes before checking changes against CI. Its reviews use codebase and team-convention context, with consolidated findings and inline notes where relevant. When pipelines fail, it distinguishes code breakage from flaky tests or infrastructure noise and identifies root causes. Teams can set review, fix, escalation, approval, and merge policies in natural language in repository files. Subject to those rules, Gitar can commit fixes to a branch and iterate until CI passes. It supports GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, including self-hosted instances, and connects to CI systems such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, and TeamCity. Gitar is listed as cloud-deployed, with API and self-hosted options. Core is $20 a month billed annually or $25 a month billed monthly per user, with a 14-day free trial. A free plan is available for qualifying public open-source repositories.
Graphite
Graphite is an AI code review platform for teams working with GitHub repositories. Its CLI lets developers create, visualize, publish, update, and sync stacks of pull requests. A customizable PR inbox groups review requests and other PRs into sections, with search across synced repositories. Graphite Chat can summarize pull requests, answer code questions, suggest or apply edits, search codebase context, and help diagnose CI failures. The stack-aware merge queue automates merges and offers CI optimizations to skip redundant tests. Documented integrations include GitHub, Slack, and Linear, alongside a VS Code extension; documentation also describes a Mac menu bar app. GitHub is the only integrated Git provider, and new signups authenticate by installing its GitHub App. The free inbox tier allows three default repositories, compared with up to 30 for Team and Enterprise. Graphite says it does not offer self-hosting. Hobby is free; Starter costs $20 a month per user billed annually, and Team costs $40 a month per user billed annually. Enterprise pricing is custom, and a 30-day trial is listed.
