In their own words
Gitar
Gitar is a code change verification agent that reviews pull requests, investigates CI failures, and can apply fixes before checking changes against CI. Its reviews use codebase and team-convention context, with consolidated findings and inline notes where relevant. When pipelines fail, it distinguishes code breakage from flaky tests or infrastructure noise and identifies root causes. Teams can set review, fix, escalation, approval, and merge policies in natural language in repository files. Subject to those rules, Gitar can commit fixes to a branch and iterate until CI passes. It supports GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, including self-hosted instances, and connects to CI systems such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, and TeamCity. Gitar is listed as cloud-deployed, with API and self-hosted options. Core is $20 a month billed annually or $25 a month billed monthly per user, with a 14-day free trial. A free plan is available for qualifying public open-source repositories.
LiveReview
LiveReview is an AI code review platform that prioritizes changes by blast radius and review priority. It automatically scans commits using a 10-category risk taxonomy that covers more than 100 failure patterns. Teams can configure review checkpoints at commit, before push, merge or pull request, CI/CD, and on a schedule. PR thread integrations are listed for GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Gitea and Azure DevOps. Other access options include git-lrc, an IDE extension for VS Code, Cursor and Antigravity, and API access on Premium. The Impact Report includes 57 charts across seven sections and can be exported as PDF or HTML. LiveReview says Adaptive Reviews can lower AI inference costs by 40–50% through separate models for issue detection and explanations. Its pricing FAQ says only staged diffs are analyzed, full repository context is not uploaded, and diffs are not stored after review. Individual is free with 30k reviewed LOC per month; Premium costs $32 a month with 100k LOC included. The FAQ states that LiveReview is not SOC 2 Type II certified at this time.
