Hangar
Hangar is a site for finding, downloading, uploading, and managing plugins for Minecraft servers running Paper, Velocity, or Waterfall. Its catalog offers platform, category, and tag filters, and projects can be searched and sorted by stars, downloads, update recency, or newest listings. A resource page's main download button provides the latest release. Project owners can add authors, create organizations, and manage roles at project or organization level. Releases can include multiple jars or external links per platform, with customizable channels such as beta or snapshot. Project pages can contain multiple description or wiki pages, and plugin compatibility can be selected by minor Minecraft versions and specific Velocity versions. Hangar also provides a documented REST API for uploads and downloads, plus a Gradle publishing plugin; PaperMC documentation describes publishing through GitHub Actions. The site is presented as an open beta. Its Spigot importer brings over descriptions and basic settings, but versions must be uploaded manually afterward. Hangar is free, and its resource rules prohibit plugin functionality from being hidden behind a paywall or author-granted license key.
