In their own words
GitOpsHQ
GitOpsHQ is a GitOps control plane for operating Kubernetes deployments across projects, tenants, environments, and clusters. It sits above existing ArgoCD and Flux setups, which can remain in place. Its authoring tools include Helm IntelliSense, Kustomize build previews, manifest overlays, live rendering, and schema validation. HQ Variables resolve through five hierarchical scopes and can be changed through a REST API, including bulk updates and dry-run previews. The product provides registries for OCI charts and Kustomize bases, plus manifest bundles for publishing and versioning deployment artifacts. Delivery Studio supports generated manifests, policy-aware previews, promotions, rollbacks, and environment freezes. A cluster-side open-source agent syncs state and supports inventory, drift detection, remote commands, and streaming logs. Security controls include action-based RBAC with explicit deny, MFA options, approval workflows, an embedded OPA policy engine, break-glass sessions, and an audit trail. The Free plan costs nothing, billed forever, and is limited to one organization, two projects per organization, one user, and seven-day audit retention. Pro costs $29 a month billed per user / month; Enterprise costs $99 a month billed per user / month.
Plural
Plural is an AI tool for infrastructure work, presented for platform and DevOps teams. It can upgrade clusters, resolve incidents, patch vulnerabilities, optimize costs, and execute changes across code, clusters, and cloud. Its project-scoped Workbenches package an AI agent’s prompt, capabilities, tools, and automation triggers for infrastructure operations. Plural says agents can draw on a live semantic graph covering clusters, stacks, services, and changes across an estate. Integrations include Prometheus, Datadog, Loki, Elastic, Tempo, Jaeger, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, and Linear. Cloud tools provide SQL-queryable access to AWS, GCP, and Azure data, including billing and infrastructure services. Changes are submitted as pull requests in existing repositories for human review. Plural says actions are logged, permissions are bounded, tool calls and decisions can be inspected, and changes can be reviewed before confirmation. Sandbox is free for a 14-day platform trial. Pro starts at $450/mo for one cluster, with each additional cluster at $250/mo, and includes a 30-day free trial. Pro uses shared Plural infrastructure; Enterprise offers shared, dedicated, or on-prem hosting.
