Gliglish
Gliglish is a language-learning app centered on speaking with an AI language teacher. It supports more than 30 languages and runs on the web, Android, and iOS. Practice includes AI conversations and real-life roleplays, with suggestions for what to say next, adjustable speaking speed, grammar feedback, and translations on request. Pronunciation feedback is listed for American English. The free plan gives 10 minutes of speaking per day, limits conversations to 50 messages, and may have limited availability at peak hours. Plus plans remove the speaking and conversation-length limits and include 50 conversation topics, mini-classes, beginner-friendly mode, multilingual speech recognition, and priority access at peak hours. Plus costs $16 a year for the annual plan and $29 a month for the monthly plan. Gliglish also offers subscriptions for education and business organizations. Its privacy policy says the service collects voice recordings, transcripts, AI responses, translations, and conversations, and may review recordings and conversations to improve the service. User data is stored on servers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
