Gling

Gling is desktop software for Windows and macOS that uses AI to edit video and audio. It can remove bad takes and retakes, detect silences and filler words, and create captions that export as SRT subtitles. Users can export MP4 or MP3 files and work with video or audio files for voiceover integration. Gling integrates with Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Premiere. The Free plan includes 1 hour of AI edited media per month; exports are unlimited but carry a watermark, and Premium support is not included. Plus costs $20 a month and includes 10 hours of AI edited media or 300 words of generated video from link, or a combination, per month. Pro costs $40 a month for 30 hours or 900 words, and Elite costs $100 a month for 100 hours or 2700 words; both include Premium support. Annual plans are listed from $10 a month, with annual billing advertised as saving 50%. Paid plans offer exports without a watermark. Gling has no mobile app.

Henshu

HENSHU is an audio-only podcast editor for arranging episodes into named sections and editing their audio through text. Users can organize blocks, then trim, cut, or improve each one independently. AI tools reduce noise, level volume, and master audio; the site says there is no need to adjust EQ or compression. Automatic transcription detects language and supports Japanese and other non-English episodes, though results depend on language, speakers, and recording clarity. The music library has roughly 200 podcast-ready tracks, with looping, fades, and ducking under speech. Inputs include phone memos, Zoom recordings, WAV, MP3, AAC, M4A, and separate host and guest tracks. Users can download mastered episodes and generate or copy show notes and chapters for their hosting destination; direct publishing integrations are not described. HENSHU works on Android, iOS, and the web, including mobile web. The Free plan is free; Standard costs $15 a month, billed monthly.
