Benchmark scenesThe default benchmark suite includes build, texture, shading, bump, desktop, buffer, terrain, shadow, and other scenes. Its scenes measure various aspects of Vulkan performance, and each scene’s rendering can be configured with options.
Build requirementsThe README lists Meson 0.47 or later, libpng 1.6, window-system development files, and the applicable GL or GLES libraries as build requirements.Building requires Meson, a C++17 compiler, Vulkan development files, GLM, and Assimp; backend-specific dependencies are also listed.

IntegrationsThe documented build flavors target graphics environments and APIs including X11, Wayland, DRM, desktop GL, EGL, and GLESv2.The README names Vulkan, X11/XCB, Wayland, and KMS-related dependencies for building; it does not describe third-party service integrations.
LicenseThe project is licensed under the GPLv3.The repository includes a file named COPYING-LGPL2.1 containing the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1.

In their own words

glmark2

glmark2 is a free graphics benchmark for OpenGL 2.0 and OpenGL ES 2.0. Its default suite runs scenes covering workloads such as building, textures, shading, bump, buffers, terrain, and shadows, then prints a glmark2 score. Users can specify custom benchmarks through command-line options or benchmark files. Results can be exported to XML or CSV, and available result details include CPU time and shader compilation time. The project documents Linux builds for DRM, Wayland, and X11, including desktop GL and GLESv2 variants, and provides instructions for building and installing an Android APK. Windows support is recorded through WGL and ANGLE-EGL. Building uses Meson and Ninja and requires Meson 0.47 or newer, libpng 1.6, window-system development files, and applicable GL or GLES libraries. On Android, arguments can come through an intent extra or an arguments file, with intent arguments taking precedence when supplied. The Android version ignores several X11 options, including validation, off-screen, fullscreen, and scene-list options. The project is licensed under GPLv3 and is provided without warranty.

vkmark

vkmark is a free, extensible Vulkan benchmarking suite for Linux, built around targeted scenes that measure different aspects of Vulkan performance. Each scene can take configuration options. The `-b, --benchmark` command-line option lets users select scenes and their order; without it, vkmark runs a default set. The project lists X11, Wayland, and KMS backends. It can detect the window system automatically, or a user can choose one with `--winsys`. After installation, vkmark runs from the command line, and it can also be run directly from the project build directory without installation. Building requires Meson, a C++17 compiler, Vulkan development files, libglm, and libassimp, as well as dependencies for the selected backend. The documented build uses Meson and Ninja, with installation through `ninja -C build install`. The README includes an apt-install example for dependencies on recent Debian or Ubuntu systems. The repository includes the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1.
