It offers ping, traceroute, DNS, MTR, and HTTP tests, with locations selectable by country, continent, city, US state, region, ASN, ISP, tag, or cloud region. A measurement can request up to 500 probes. The Free plan costs nothing: unregistered users can use up to 50 probes per measurement and run 250 free tests per hour; registered users can use up to 500 probes and 500 free tests per hour. Additional tests cost one credit each. The platform includes a REST API, command-line interface, and integrations such as Slack, Discord, Zapier, n8n, and GitHub Bot. The CLI supports Linux, Mac, and Windows and can script tests. Globalping’s maker describes its components as open source and actively developed with its community. nPerf

nPerf is an internet connection measurement service for speed, latency, browsing, streaming, and mobile signal strength. Its speed test uses a worldwide network of dedicated servers and an algorithm to measure download speed, upload speed, and latency. Mobile apps offer separate speed, browsing, and streaming tests, keep test history with map locations, and allow results to be shared. nPerf says these tests can use up to two times less data than competing tests and include a configurable data threshold indicator. PC and Mac applications test connections up to 10 Gb/s. Free services include tests, instant comparisons, and speed and mobile coverage maps; an account adds web dashboards, statistics, and cloud backup. Premium costs $2 a year. For telecom operators, Analytics supplies crowdsourced network data, more than 250 KPIs, live analysis, and raw data export. The service is available on Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web, and Windows.
