NIUBI Partition Editor

NIUBI Partition Editor is Windows software for changing disk partitions and carrying out related disk maintenance. It can shrink, extend, move, or merge partitions; clone a disk or individual partition; and convert disk and partition types. Maintenance tools include defragmentation, file system error fixing, bad sector scanning, and disk initialization. Virtual Mode lets you preview, undo, and redo planned operations without changing real partitions until you select Apply. The maker says 1 Second Rollback can restore a computer or server to its prior status after a software error or hardware issue during repartitioning. Editions with the bootable media creator can make CD, DVD, or USB media for cases when Windows cannot boot or the program cannot be installed. The free edition is limited to non-commercial home use and does not include rollback or bootable media creation. Its demo stays in virtual mode and cannot modify real partitions. Prices include free, $39, paid once, $139, paid once, $399, paid once, and $699, paid once for the listed editions.
