GoDaddy POS
GoDaddy POS combines Smart Terminal hardware with software for in-person selling and business management. Checkout includes product search, favorites, preset taxes and discounts, tips, refunds, split payments, pre-authorizations, and printed, text, or email receipts. Product catalogs can contain images, variants, modifiers, and barcodes, with bulk uploads and edits and AI-assisted descriptions. Point of Sale Plus adds terminal stock counts and low- or out-of-stock alerts; inventory details sync across mobile, online, and terminal channels. The service can sync with GoDaddy’s Online Store and support sales through Amazon, Etsy, eBay, social channels, and online ordering for in-store pickup. It accepts major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, HSA, and FSA. GoDaddy lists in-person processing at 2.3% + 0¢ with Point of Sale Plus. The free plan allows up to 10 products; Point of Sale Plus is $28.99 a month billed with an annual plan. Hardware options include handheld, countertop, and larger-catalog terminals. The Smart Terminal Pro needs a separate printer for printed receipts; email and text are alternatives. GoDaddy lists Android, iOS, and web support.
Stoq
Stoq is a retail operations and management platform developed for Brazilian retail. Its integrated offering covers counter sales, self-service, SmartPOS, an online store and marketplaces. SmartPOS supports card and digital-wallet payments, NFC-e fiscal receipts, cloud management and remote monitoring. Other components include Stoq.link, Stoq PDV, Stoq Self-checkout, Stoq Cloud API and Stoq.shop for click-and-collect. Listed connections cover BeBlue and Passbook for cashback, iFood and Uber Eats for delivery, Magalu, Shopify and Vnda for e-commerce, and Protheus, SAP and Conta Azul for ERP; Power BI is listed for business intelligence. Cloud tools include back-office storage and a consolidated view of store networks, with remote operations monitoring 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The platform runs online in a browser and on Android, iOS, Mac or Windows devices, with an API for integration. Stoq says personal data is encrypted and stored in data centers in Brazil and abroad, and that it does not save or provide consumers’ personal data. Pricing depends on selected components and is provided at contracting; a sales commission may also apply to platform-attributed sales.
