Overview

The app maps the Overworld, Nether, and End, with support for both Java and Bedrock editions. Players can search for worlds by biome, structure, terrain height, and quad-structure clusters, then browse terrain and locations on a map. That makes it a better fit for players with a specific kind of world in mind than for those who simply want a seed list.

Key features

Biome and structure browsing, terrain analysis, spawn filters, and map previews support seed discovery. Search filters can narrow the field around a desired landscape or structure combination, while the map provides a way to inspect the resulting world. Saved seeds and custom pins help organize candidates and mark points of interest.

The free account allows three saved seeds and 10 custom pins per map. Those limits should cover occasional searches, but players comparing several worlds or annotating maps extensively may reach them quickly. Plus removes both caps.

Plus also adds estimated ore locations and previews of chest contents in major structures. These are seed-based predictions, not guarantees of what a player will find in game, so they are useful as planning cues rather than a substitute for exploration.

Pricing

Plan	Price	What it includes
Free	Free	Map rendering, biome and structure browsing, seed search, up to 3 saved world seeds, and up to 10 custom pins per map.
Plus Monthly	3.99 USD per month	Estimated ore locations, chest-content previews, unlimited saved seeds and pins, plus a custom app theme and icon.
Plus Annual	24.99 USD per year	The same Plus features, billed annually.

Free is the sensible starting point for players who mainly want maps and seed search and can work within the saving caps. Plus is for regular users who need a larger library or want ore and loot previews. The annual plan costs less over a year than paying monthly for twelve months, but either subscription still puts predictive features behind a paywall.

Platforms

Seed Map Pro is native software for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Its latest listed update supports Java 26.2 and Bedrock 26.30–26.40. Players who need a web or Windows version should consider another option.

The App Store privacy disclosure says identifiers, usage data, and diagnostics may be collected without being linked to the user. The developer describes the project as an independent effort by a single indie developer with no ads or tracking. It is not an official Minecraft app and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

Who it's for

Choose Seed Map Pro if you play on Apple devices and want to filter seeds, inspect all three dimensions, and save or annotate candidate worlds. The free tier is adequate for light use; Plus makes more sense for players who regularly manage many seeds or value the ore and chest previews despite their uncertainty. It is a poor fit for players who need a non-Apple platform or require exact in-game predictions.

Pros and cons

Pros: Search spans biome, structure, terrain height, and quad-structure clusters, giving players several ways to target a world.
Pros: Java and Bedrock coverage includes the Overworld, Nether, and End, with maps and browsing tools on the free plan.
Cons: The free tier's three-seed and 10-pin-per-map caps can constrain players who keep a larger set of worlds organized.
Cons: Ore and chest-content previews are estimates and may not match in-game results.
Cons: The app is limited to Apple's iPhone, iPad, and Mac platforms.

Alternatives

Minecraft Seed Finders is a useful starting point for comparing more tools in the category.

Pick SeedLander if a web-based option and per-world Premium World plan appeal; it offers a 14-day free trial and unlimited markers and portal pairs. Choose MC Seed View if you want a free option on Android, iOS, or the web. SeedFinder is a better fit for users seeking free hosted API and browser tools, with the hosted API limited to 60 requests per IP per minute.

For desktop Minecraft tools, consider wWaypoints or EZ Seed Finder, both free and available on Linux, macOS, and Windows. Ezseed Minecraft Seed Finder suits players who prefer a free browser tool with no download or account and supports Java 1.20–26.2 and Bedrock up to 26.30. Minecraft Search Seed Finder keeps its core features free on the web, with a paid tier for Diamond Finder and supporter perks. Seed Atlas is another free option for Linux, macOS, and Windows.

Verdict

Seed Map Pro is a strong choice for Apple-device Minecraft players who want to search seeds by meaningful world traits and keep maps organized. Its broad edition and dimension coverage makes the free tier worth trying, while Plus is justified mainly for unlimited saved worlds and pins. Look elsewhere if you need a non-Apple platform or expect ore and loot predictions to be exact.
