SmartShot
SmartShot is a Windows screenshot tool for capturing images, keeping them visible and extracting text. Users can take full-page scrolling, smart element and area captures, with customizable hotkeys; Ctrl+Q is the default. Screenshots can float above other windows, allowing several to remain visible for comparison, and a toolbar provides one-click clipboard copying. The tool supports multi-monitor capture and exports PNG, JPEG and WebP. OCR extraction is listed among the features of the free trial and Lifetime Access plan, while the Free plan lists capture options, export formats and offline operation. The maker says all processing is local and screenshots do not leave the user's computer. Download instructions name a Windows installer, SmartShot.exe, and supported browsers include Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers. The Free plan is listed at free. A 7-day trial is also listed at free and requires no credit card; Lifetime Access costs $9.99, paid once and includes free updates forever. The pricing page states a 30-day refund policy for lifetime access.
