Yandex Translate

Yandex Translate handles words, expressions, text in photos and images, websites and mobile apps. Its web version supports more than 90 languages and can translate documents and websites. For image text, it can identify the language and provide a translated image for download, though it cannot recognize blurry text, cursive or handwriting. Access is available through a browser, mobile browser, Android and iOS apps, with API access and a Telegram bot for chat translation. The mobile app can translate typed text offline. English and Russian dictionaries are available by default; other language dictionaries need to be downloaded. Voice input and dialog mode require an internet connection. Glossary tools are included, and AI functions can answer translation-related requests such as grammar explanations and style recommendations, though usage may be limited. Some functions may require a Yandex ID sign-in. The web version does not store translation history; locally stored history can be viewed on the device but cannot be downloaded. The service is free for personal, noncommercial use.
