Grabient
Grabient is a free web-based tool for making CSS gradients and managing palettes. Users can adjust gradient style, angle and steps, then create, save, browse, manage or like palettes. Search accepts descriptive terms such as colors, moods or themes. Exports include CSS, SVG and PNG; palette pages also offer copy options for colors, ShaderToy and JSON. Unauthenticated GET endpoints provide palette JSON, search, ranked palette lists and PNG renders without an API key. A URL seed determines a palette, so repeating the same seed reproduces its colors. Generated or exported gradients may be used for lawful personal and commercial projects under a perpetual, royalty-free license. Some features require an account, available through Google OAuth or email magic links. The documented API and image reads are limited to 300 requests per 10 seconds per IP, and PNG output has size caps. Grabient recommends itself for UI palettes, gradients and backgrounds, not accessibility contrast checks, image palette extraction, exact brand-hex matching or print/CMYK work.
