Its AI matching tool builds a university shortlist from a student profile, while the comparison tool is described as using more than 8 million data points. Students can compare loan options after 15+ lenders bid on a profile. The service lists 15,000+ on-campus programs from 200+ universities and 500+ online programs, alongside a scholarship finder and eligibility checks. Health insurance includes university-compliant plans. Listed online-program providers include Coursera and Emeritus; named lenders include ICICI, Credila, Axis Bank, and Prodigy. GradRight is available on Android, iOS, and the web, and is free for students, with no student fee stated. Its privacy policy says sensitive information entered during registration is encrypted and that the service may collect details such as location, education, exam results, work experience, and loan-related information.
PhDportal
PhDportal is a free web service for finding and comparing English-taught PhD programmes at universities worldwide. Its catalogue lists more than 19,000 programmes from over 900 universities. Search filters cover subject, country, tuition fees, duration, study format, language requirements and university rankings. Users can save programmes to a shortlist for comparison, then connect directly with universities when applying. The service also supports scholarship searches and provides university pages with rankings, reviews, student life, admission requirements and tuition fees. Registered users can receive study matches, update preferences and keep a wishlist. Programme information comes from official university websites; some universities update listings directly, while PhDportal's data team curates and verifies others. Most programme pages are checked at least once a year, and tuition fees, deadlines and study dates are checked for unusual changes or inconsistencies. Students are advised to verify final details with the university before applying. PhDportal is part of Studyportals, whose operator is Studyportals B.V., headquartered in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
