Overview

Founded in 2019 and based in Hyderabad, GradRight brings university selection together with education loans, health insurance, and refinancing. Its tools cover program search, institution comparison, application management, and scholarship search, so students can use one service across several planning tasks. That scope is valuable when study choices and financing decisions are intertwined; applicants who already have their funding and insurance arrangements may have less reason to use the broader platform.

The catalog spans 15,000+ on-campus programs from 200+ universities and 500+ online programs. Coursera and Emeritus are among the online-program providers it names. GradRight also identifies seven destination countries, giving students an entry point for comparing study options across borders. Catalog breadth helps with discovery, but it does not by itself determine which course or institution is a good fit.

Key features

Profile-based university matching: GradRight builds a shortlist around a student's profile. That can make a large search more manageable, especially for applicants still shaping their options. Its comparison tool is described as drawing on more than 8 million data points, providing a broad basis for comparing institutions; students still need to judge the results against their own academic and career priorities.
Loan comparisons: More than 15 lenders can bid on a student's profile, and applicants can compare the resulting loan options. Named lenders include ICICI, Credila, Axis Bank, and Prodigy. This marketplace approach can help students consider multiple financing choices in one place, but a bid or comparison is not a substitute for evaluating the terms of a loan.
Scholarships: A scholarship finder and eligibility checks give students a way to identify funding opportunities alongside program searches. These tools are particularly relevant to applicants trying to manage the overall cost of study.
Insurance and refinancing: GradRight offers international student health insurance, including plans described as university-compliant, as well as refinancing. Those services extend its usefulness beyond the application stage, though they matter less to students who already have suitable coverage or financing.
Student support and apps: Support is hybrid, with email at grad@gradright.com and phone support at +91 72782 62232, Monday through Saturday, 10 AM–7 PM. GradRight links to mobile apps on Google Play and the Apple App Store, alongside its web service.

GradRight's privacy policy says it uses administrative, technical, and physical precautions and encrypts sensitive information entered during registration. It also says collected information may include device and browser details, location, educational qualifications, exam results, work experience, and loan-related information. Students should weigh that range of personal and financial information against the convenience of profile-based matching and financing comparisons.

Pricing

Free for students — free. The student plan includes program search, institution comparison, application management, and scholarship search. There is no student fee stated, making it accessible to applicants who want to begin planning without a platform charge. The plan's stated scope covers the core discovery and application tools as well as scholarship search; there is no separate paid student tier described here to compare against it.

Free access does not remove possible costs associated with study or financing decisions. Students should assess any loan, insurance, application, or institutional charges on their own terms rather than treating a free platform as a free application or education.

Platforms

GradRight supports web, Android, and iOS. That combination suits students who want to move between desktop research and mobile access while planning. The platform is also listed as serving seven destination countries.

Who it's for

GradRight is a strong starting point for students planning higher education in India or abroad who want to search programs, compare institutions, check scholarship eligibility, and examine education financing in one place. Its insurance and refinancing services also suit students who want to consider support beyond admissions. It is less compelling for people who need only a basic course listing, or who prefer to handle loans, insurance, and university selection through separate providers.
