In their own words
GridPoint Intelligence
GridPoint Intelligence is an energy management platform for commercial customers looking to understand and optimize energy use across buildings. It connects with existing building assets and provides metering, asset monitoring, remote controls, and energy optimization. The platform interprets building data to automate operations, identify anomalies and inefficiencies, and recommend actions related to equipment performance.
For HVAC, GridPoint monitors units, helps diagnose issues remotely, ranks them by severity, and supports repair validation. Automation can use schedules based on time of use, operating hours, occupancy, sensors, and daylight. GridPoint says its demand response technology is OpenADR certified and works with other protocols. Its energy manager app provides energy-use feedback, asset monitoring, reports, and alerts on Android and iOS; the platform is also available on the web. Two-factor authentication is optional. Pricing is on request, and packages can be out of the box or customized for a site. A 90-day pilot is available. GridPoint was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Reston, Virginia.
