Overview

Growyze brings purchasing, stock control, invoice checks, waste tracking and recipe costing into a hospitality-focused product. It is most compelling for food and beverage operators that want those back-of-house routines connected; the Free plan’s tight quotas and Pro’s invoice cap make volume an important part of the decision.

It runs on iOS, Android and desktop browsers, without requiring a separate download. Barcode-based stock counts, delivery records and cost reporting give operators a way to connect routine purchasing activity with food-cost oversight. The breadth is useful, but Growyze is less attractive if a business needs high invoice throughput without per-invoice charges.

Key features

Stock, purchasing and waste

Barcode scanning and digital stocksheets support stock counts, and Growyze says they can reduce stocktake time by 60%. That could matter to venues where counting stock is a recurring burden, although the claimed reduction should not be treated as a guaranteed result. Purchase orders and delivery notes extend the workflow from ordering through receipt, while waste records help track what is discarded.

Dashboards compare expected and actual cost of goods sold, show gross profit analysis and track item price changes. These are practical views for operators monitoring margins and supplier costs. Recipe management adds costing, margin calculations, allergen information and other recipe details, helping link food preparation records to financial and dietary considerations.

Invoice reconciliation and integrations

Automated three-way validation checks orders against deliveries and invoices, flagging discrepancies. This is more useful than treating invoice review as a standalone task, since mismatches can be assessed across the purchasing chain. The allowance is the constraint: Pro includes 25 automated validations per venue, then charges £0.50 per invoice.

The product page displays integrations with Square, Clover, Go-EPOS and Newbridge, plus Xero and Sage. That range may help connect point-of-sale and accounting workflows, though the integrations alone do not establish how each connection behaves in a particular setup.

Pricing

Free

The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free and includes 2 stocktakes, 5 supplier orders, 50 suppliers, 5 delivery notes, 10 automated invoice validations, 10 recipes, 10 dishes, 20 waste records and 1 of each report. It is a credible way for a small operation to try the core workflows, but these caps make it a poor fit for sustained use at a busy venue.

Pro

Pro costs 79.00 USD per month, billed monthly, per venue, with unlimited users. It removes the Free plan’s listed caps in the comparison except for invoice validation: 25 are included, with each further invoice costing £0.50. Unlimited users are useful for a team sharing one venue’s workflows, but larger invoice volumes can make the stated base price an incomplete view of monthly cost.

Enterprise

Enterprise has custom pricing for bigger or enterprise food and beverage businesses. It includes unlimited automated order imports, multi-site rollout and stock transfers, making it the relevant plan for operators coordinating multiple locations. Its price is custom rather than a fixed monthly amount.

Growyze advertises a 30-day trial without requiring a card and offers setup on or off site upon request. Email and phone support and in-person training are also available, which can help teams get a new operating workflow in place.

Platforms

Growyze works on Android, iOS and web, including desktop browsers, without requiring a separate download. That suits teams that need mobile access as well as browser access at a workstation. It is not presented as a Windows or macOS desktop application.

Who it's for

Hotels, restaurants, multi-location cafés and bars are the clearest fit, alongside other food and beverage businesses. A single venue can start with Free or use Pro for unlimited users, while multi-site operators have a clearer reason to consider Enterprise because it includes rollout and stock transfers. Businesses with few invoices may get useful purchasing and stock controls from Pro; those with many invoices should account for the £0.50 charge beyond the included allowance.

Pros and cons

Connected back-of-house scope: ordering, deliveries, stock, waste, invoices and recipes sit within one hospitality-oriented product.
Useful cost and margin views: expected versus actual COGS, gross profit analysis, price changes and recipe costing support food-cost oversight.
Free entry point and card-free trial: operators can explore the product before paying, though the Free plan’s quotas are small.
Invoice charges can accumulate: Pro’s 25 included validations per venue are followed by a £0.50 charge per invoice.
Enterprise pricing requires a conversation: multi-site capabilities are relevant, but the plan uses custom pricing rather than a fixed price.

Alternatives

For a broader comparison of purchasing and stock tools, see Restaurant Procurement Software and Restaurant Inventory Management Software.

FOOD-TRAK is another paid option, with Android, iOS, web and Windows platforms. Craftable is paid and runs on Android, iOS and web.

Pick MarketMan if you want a paid alternative with no free plan and a stated Starter price of 249.00 USD per month, billed monthly, including one Vendor EDI Integration and 50 AI-Powered Invoice Scans/mo; its Growth plan is 299.00 USD per month. Tradogram is another paid option with a free trial; its Essentials plan is 99.00 USD per month, billed monthly, for 1+ users with an additional user fee, while Premium is aimed at 20+ users and has custom pricing.

i-curate is a paid alternative available on Android, API, iOS and web. BlueCart uses custom pricing for its BlueCart Wholesale plan, which varies by selected features. Millum Procurement also uses pricing on request, with individual or purchasing-organization availability and optional modules. PurchaseFlow may suit early-stage operators: its Startup Program offers the first 2 sites free for 12 months, requires an application and includes full platform access for operators with 1–4 sites.

Verdict

Choose Growyze if you run a hospitality or food and beverage operation and want stock, purchasing, invoice checks, waste and recipe costing under one roof, with mobile and browser access. Its main advantage is the reach of that connected workflow; its main caution is cost control, since Free is tightly capped and Pro charges beyond 25 automated invoice validations per venue. High-volume invoice users and operators who need predictable multi-site pricing should compare alternatives before committing.
