In their own words

GTC Cloud-Fax

GTC Cloud-Fax is a cloud service for sending and receiving faxes online without a fax machine or fax server. Users can work through a web interface, email, or developer interfaces, including REST, SOAP, and SMTP, and can use those routes in parallel. For email sending, the destination fax number is combined with @fax.tc; delivery status comes back by email. Received faxes can arrive as PDF or TIFF attachments or be retrieved through a secure reception area. Fax-management tools include cover sheets, address-book recipients, custom sender IDs, centrally managed users with individual permissions, logs, and delivery notifications. GTC describes application automation at scales from one fax to one million. The maker says its servers are in Germany and lists GDPR compliance, SSL access, and IP-range restrictions; HIPAA support is also listed. A free test account is available at free. Paid options include Paket-Lösung – klein at €9.50 a year, billed annually, and fax credits at €11.90, paid once. The credits do not expire, but unused credit is not refundable.

OTG Networks vFax

OTG Networks vFax lets users send and receive faxes through email, a browser, or a device without fax hardware. To fax from email, users attach a PDF and enter the fax number in the recipient field; incoming faxes arrive as PDF attachments in the inbox. The web portal supports drag-and-drop documents, fax history, and management of multiple fax numbers. Customers can obtain a dedicated local or toll-free number or port an existing number. Delivery receipts report a timestamp, pages delivered, and recipient confirmation. The service is listed for Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. OTG describes vFax as HIPAA compliant and says it uses encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logs; it also lists 256-bit encryption and SOC 2 readiness. The page advertises unlimited cloud storage. The vFax plan is included free on every GoOTG plan, while the general pricing note starts at $15/user/mo. OTG identifies healthcare, legal, finance and banking, and real estate as industries that rely on vFax.
