In their own words

HabitKit

HabitKit is an Android and iOS habit tracker that records daily habits on a year-long grid, with one tile per day. Users can mark or clear today with a tap and fill earlier dates through a habit calendar. It supports Yes/No, Count, and Measure tracking; Count and Measure habits can use daily goals or stay-below limits. Habits may also have weekly or monthly goals. Progress views include cards, checklists, compact overviews, calendars, streaks, and month-by-month completion statistics. The free tier allows four habits, one reminder per habit, and daily check-in reminders. Pro adds unlimited habits, home-screen widgets, charts, dashboard customization, up to three reminders per habit, and data export and import. Habit history stays on the device, with no account required and no automatic sync to a HabitKit server or between devices. Moving data between devices requires a manual export and import. HabitKit supports Siri and iOS Shortcuts actions, but has no Apple Watch app or complication. Pro does not add automatic syncing or individual quit-habit charts.

Routinery

Routinery helps users build habits and routines with timed sequences of steps on Android and iOS. Its timer guides users through each task, with options to pause, skip, adjust time, advance automatically or play white noise. Voice alerts and push notifications provide prompts while routines are underway, and users can schedule them by weekday and time of day. Daily, weekly and monthly tracking includes completion analytics. Routinery also offers popular routines and celebrity routine recommendations. Through MCP, it can connect to ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants to view, create and edit routines. The connection uses OAuth 2.0, and routine changes require explicit confirmation. When connected this way, routine data is shared with the AI platform selected by the user. The Free plan costs nothing and allows two routines with unlimited checklists. Premium Monthly costs $5 a month, and Premium Annual costs $36 a year. Routinery describes the app as useful for people managing ADHD, busy schedules or habit building.
