In their own words
Hagif
Hagif is a browser-first workshop for creating downloadable media files, with workflows for GIFs, video, images, audio, PDFs, SVGs, and utilities. Featured tasks include video-to-GIF, GIF compression, image-to-GIF, and GIF-to-MP4; it also offers templates and prompt-to-GIF. Core conversion and editing run in the browser on the user’s device, and standard single-file processing is free, requires no account, and produces watermark-free downloads. Free batch GIF processing is limited to one file at a time. The 24-hour Hagif Power Pass costs $4.99, paid once and adds batch GIF processing, ZIP downloads, exact-target search, and additional quality candidates for up to 10 selected GIFs; it does not renew automatically. Hagif says files stay in the browser except when using AI GIF, which sends the text prompt to Cloudflare Workers AI before creating the animation in the browser. Large files may run out of memory, and codec support varies by browser, source format, and device.
Wigglegram Creator
Wigglegram Creator makes animated GIFs and looping MP4 or WebM videos from sequences of JPG or PNG images. Its drag-and-drop graphical interface lets users set output scale, frames per second, and video repetitions. GIF output is downscaled for sharing; MP4 and WebM exports are full resolution and can use configurable repetitions. Users can draw a crop on the preview, applied before scaling, interpolation, and export. If a face is detected on import, alignment anchors to it automatically, and users can click the preview to override that placement. On macOS, the app can offer Apollo Fast slow motion from 2x to 8x if it detects Topaz Video’s bundled ffmpeg. The project is free and MIT-licensed, with prebuilt releases listed for Linux x64 and arm64, Windows x64, and macOS Apple Silicon. It is a GUI-only application without headless command-line export. The prebuilt macOS app is unsigned and not notarized, so Gatekeeper quarantines it on first opening.
