In their own words

Hide it Pro

Hide it Pro is an app for keeping private photos, videos, music, apps and notes out of view. Hidden data is encrypted and stored on the device, and the privacy policy says the maker cannot access media added to the app. Users can access the vault with a fingerprint, and app locking supports a fingerprint or password. The app also includes a private browser with ad blocking and tracking protection, plus chat for private conversations and photo exchange. Optional plugins add more functions: one can remove the app icon, while VBrowser offers incognito browsing, a download manager, video downloads from over 14 streaming sites and picture saving. An SMS hider plugin is described as early development and is not guaranteed to work. Hide it Pro is available for Android, iOS, macOS and Windows. Its free plan is listed at free, with no paid plans listed on the official site. The privacy policy says third-party ad SDKs may collect IP address, device and operating-system details, session data and diagnostics.

Vaulty

Vaulty is an Android private gallery for keeping photos and videos behind a PIN or password. Separate, custom-named vaults let users divide media or share access selectively. Files can be hidden from the device gallery, including in batches, then arranged into albums and viewed with an in-app player, zoom, or slideshow. An incorrect password can trigger a front-camera photo. Vaulty offers automatic backup to the user’s own Google Drive and can restore media after a device switch or reset; backups are kept in Google Drive rather than Vaulty’s servers. Its privacy policy says the app cannot access concealed content, while Google Drive backups follow Google’s terms and privacy policy. The policy also notes collection of device and operating-system details, IP-based general location, and information supplied to support. The free plan costs nothing and includes ads and automatic Google Drive backup.
