In their own words
HISSandaROAR
HISSandaROAR sells high-resolution sound-effects and ambience libraries for creative sound designers. Categories include sound effects, ambience, Mini FX, Unit FX, impulse responses, and a Complete catalog. Libraries are released as 24-bit, 192 kHz WAV files with embedded metadata and photos. The independent New Zealand business was launched in 2010 by Wellington film sound designer Tim Prebble, who owns and operates it. The Complete 225 download contains 225 libraries, full UCS metadata, and photos, delivered through Amazon S3 and Google Drive links; archives can reach 50 GB. It costs $4,999, paid once and carries a single-user license. Multiple users are directed to request a site-license quote. The maker says its EULA and MULA prohibit machine-learning use and selling derivative products without a commercial license. Per-asset downloads are available, and occasional free sounds are offered.
TONSTURM

Ambience libraries include surround, 5.0, and 7.0.2 formats for Dolby Atmos workflows. Software tools support sound editing, processing, and mixing. SpinTracer provides real-time motion control, a spatial motion engine, up to 16 sound objects and input channels, tremolo, floor reflections, and binaural panning. DopplerPRO controls Doppler timing, speed, peak position, path shape, and floor reflections, and supports VST, VST3, AAX, Audio Suite, and Audio Units. It requires internet for activation but works offline afterward, with machine or USB-dongle iLok licensing. Complete Software bundles eight instruments and plugins. Mac and Windows installers are listed, and TONSTURM operates from Cologne, Germany.
