Hofmann lets customers make personalized photo books and other photo products using an app, an offline desktop editor or an online editor. The app can import images from a device gallery, Google Photos, Facebook, Instagram or Dropbox. Album customization includes layouts, text, backgrounds, masks, frames and stickers. Online projects can be saved to an account, and a named project can be set to save automatically every two minutes. Before ordering, the online editor can flag issues such as blank pages or missing spine text. Listed hardcover albums range from 24 to 120 pages, with extra-page charges that vary by album. The Apaisado S hardcover album is listed at €13.99, paid once; extra pages cost 0.87 EUR each and shipping is excluded. Other listed options include hardcover albums priced at €29.99, paid once and €48.99, paid once. The offline editor is available for Mac and Windows, alongside mobile and web access. Hofmann says it processes uploaded photos to create personalized products, and its help center covers delivery, orders, payments, product creation and accounts.

ifolor offers personalised photo products, including photo books, calendars, greeting cards, wall decorations, digital photos, and photo gifts. Its Designer software and apps provide templates and tools for arranging photos and text, and let customers save projects for later. The Windows Designer also supports saving personal templates. A Photo Book Deluxe can have 26 to 132 pages, while Premium Photo Paper books use 340 gsm real photo paper and lay-flat binding, in matte or glossy finishes. Customers can order a book as an EPUB eBook, but it cannot be edited and its email download link lasts 30 days. The service supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and web; the listed app requirements include macOS 13, iOS 14.4, and Android 6.0. Projects cannot move between the desktop Designer and mobile app during creation, and PDFs cannot be imported into photo books. ifolor says uploaded image files are not sold or used for marketing profiles, facial recognition, identification, automated individual decisions, or AI training.
