Holodeck B2B is open-source software for business-to-business messaging, implementing the OASIS ebXML Messaging 3 and AS4 specifications. It can run as a standalone AS4 gateway or connect with a business system through provided interfaces. The software supports one-way and two-way exchanges using push and pull patterns, including files and attachments up to 2 GB. Gateway monitoring is available through command-line and graphical interfaces. A file-based backend is included; REST API integration is an extension, and the API can be used to build custom backends such as Web Services and JMS. An open-source AS2 extension lets a gateway exchange both AS2 and AS4 messages, with protocol selection in the P-Mode. Listed security features include signing and encryption with WS-Security 1.1.1, certificate trust stores, OCSP checks and AS4 non-repudiation of receipt. Tradeshift lists ISO 27001, SOC 1 Type II, SOC 2 Type II, and ISAE 3402 among its security accreditations. Its described practices include least-privilege access, secure code review and scanning, vulnerability testing, incident response, and daily backups. AP customers can access Tradeshift University and 365-day support after setup. Tradeshift says it serves large and mid-sized companies and covers e-invoicing compliance in 70 countries. Sellers receive customer support without additional charges for heavy support use. The first 30 invoices per quarter are free; higher seller tiers charge per transaction, with custom pricing above 15,000 quarterly transactions.
